ABUJA – The Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Kasim Mohammed, has braved a heavy downpour to inspect the ongoing Gwagwalada Town Hall project as part of efforts to ensure its timely completion.

Mohammed made an unscheduled visit to the project site despite the heavy rain to assess the level of work and ensure that construction remains on schedule.

According to a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Council chairman, Muhammad Isah Hassan, the Town Hall is expected to be commissioned within the chairman’s first 100 days in office.

The statement added that during the inspection, the council boss reviewed the progress of the project and reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing projects designed to improve the lives of residents of Gwagwalada Area Council.

Mohammed said his administration would continue to monitor ongoing projects closely to ensure they were delivered within schedule and served their intended purpose.

The chairman’s visit, despite the unfavourable weather, underscores the administration’s determination to deliver on its promises to the people.
