The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has congratulated the Commissioner of Police of the Territory, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD., FCAI, as he celebrates his 54th birthday today, 20th May, 2026.
The Command in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, described CP Sanusi as a committed and visionary leader whose service continues to reflect professionalism and a firm commitment to the safety and security of residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
The statement added that “These efforts have contributed to a noticeable reduction in crime across the FCT and reinforced public confidence in policing”.
“As he marks this special day, we pray for continued good health, strength, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to the nation. May his leadership continue to inspire excellence and advance peace, safety, and progress within the FCT and beyond. Happy Birthday, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD., FCAI”, the statement added.
CP Sanusi assumed duty as the 35th Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command on 24th of March 2026.
He is a seasoned police officer with decades of meritorious service and extensive professional experience. He was born on 20th May 1972 and hails from Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.
