In preparation for this year’s Eid-il-Fitr celebrations, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Olohundare Moshood along with sister security agencies have embarked on statewide payrol.
The patrol, according to a statement by Command’s PPRO, Adebisi Abimbola was to deter criminal activities and strengthen public confidence throughout the celebration in the state.
The statement added that the operation was aimed at ensuring the safety and security of residents before, during, and after the festive period.
SP Abimbola added that residents of Agege and its environs commended the proactive approach of the security agencies, noting the visible presence and coordinated efforts.
Meanwhile, strategic deployments of manpower, operational assets, and intelligence-driven technology have been emplaced across the State to guarantee a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-il-Fitr celebration.
