ANUJA – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has said the ongoing recruitment exercise into the four paramilitary services has reached its final stages and will be concluded within the next four weeks.
The Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, assuring applicants that the recruitment process would be concluded in line with the principles of justice, merit, federal character and due process.
Jibril said the board was aware of the “tremendous amount of anticipation” among applicants following the large number of applications received from across the country.
According to him, the board will not rush the exercise at the expense of a comprehensive and transparent selection process.
He said, “It is the intention of the CDCFIB not to rush the entire recruitment process, but to bring it to completion without any prejudice to the principles of justice, merit, federal character, due process, and the operational requirements of the four services.”
The CDCFIB secretary explained that the recruitment process had already taken place and was now at its concluding stages.
He added that once the process was completed, successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment portal.
Jibril urged applicants to remain patient, assuring them that their patience would be rewarded.
He stated, “The recruitment process has taken place, and it has now reached its last stages, which will be completed within four weeks.”
He directed candidates to monitor the recruitment platform for updates and notifications.
Applicants were advised to rely on the official CDCFIB recruitment platform for information concerning the outcome of the exercise.
